These little birds are so much fun. Will be totally handsewn in the workshop, after we watercolor the fur, that is. Really easy, quick project. I bring along lots of fluffy tail feathers and shiny little black eyes. We’ll even make the little wire legs.

Amethyst & Ivory

A sweet little 13” teddy in beautiful amethyst and ivory colored mohair. She has a pretty little tab on her belly that we’ll silk ribbon embroider and put a couple of poseys on her paw pads, as well. Perfect beginner project.

Two day Workshops:

A Little Gift from Santa

Definitely a two day project. We’ll make the little 9” teddy one day and learn some crazy quilt techniques. Day two, we’ll play at embellishing the stocking and even the teddys paw pads if you’re so inclined. Again, bring along your favorite trinkets and treasures to add to the embellishment.

Any one day project can easily be expanded to two days. By doing two days, we can really dig into a needlework technique. Study a little bit of it’s history and theory, do a little sampler.
